June 13, 2025 in Bolivar, MO is hiring an experienced Certified Orthopedic Coder with Spine Coding experience to join our team in the Clinic Coding department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: CMH Clinic Coding provides theanization with concise, accurate, appropriate coding of patient encounters for appropriate reimbursement and statistical purposes.
A typical day will include: performing diagnostic/procedural coding functions of theanization.
Reviewing and coding the final diagnoses and procedural codes for professional services performed in the inpatient, outpatient ambulatory services and outpatient clinic visits/procedures, using current ICD 10, CPT and HCPCS coding books and other accumulated material guidelines from regulatory agencies.
Responsible for appropriate use of modifiers resulting in correct first time claims submission.
Assists the Clinic Coding Manager with audits of the professionalponent of the clinic, outpatient, and inpatient visits/procedures for coding appropriateness and/or patient concerns.
Maintaining openmunication with clinic coding manager related to documentation and/or coding issues impacting timely coding of assigned clinics.

Job Requirements:
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent degree

Experience:

2 plus years of experience or 5+ years of spine coding or be able to obtain the certification within 90 days from date of hire.

Skills:

anization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking

Licensure/Certification:

AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT) or AAPC (CCP, COC) along with having Orthopedic Certification

Physical:
