Medical Coder III (inpatient) – Remote job in Charleston, South Carolina!

Job Summary:

Join a mission-driven team providing inpatient medical coding for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This fully remote position ensurespliance with DHA coding standards and accuracy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign

ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT

codes for inpatient services.
Ensure DRG assignment,pliance, and accuracy.
Utilize

MHS GENESIS, 3M

Epass 360, JLV systems.

Qualifications:

5+ years inpatient coding experience (or 3 years MTF experience).
Certified Coder (CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT).
Security clearance eligibility (Tier 1 Investigation).
Position contingent on contract award. With an early summer start date
