We are seeking an experienced and certified professional to join our team as the Vice President of Medical Coding. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of leadership and providing education to staff coders and providers. This individual will possess comprehensive knowledge of Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC)/Risk Adjustment and medical coding practices.

Qualifications:

Professional certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent). 3-5 years of experience in medical coding, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of medical coding guidelines, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCC/Risk Adjustment. Proven experience in providing education and training to staff coders and healthcare providers. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and coding software systems. Advanced certifications in medical coding or healthcare management.
