PRIMARY PURPOSE OFPOSITION
Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving insupport of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technicaldecisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional disciplineand its practical application and has detailed knowledge ofapplicable industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage andimplement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Provide technical expertise and consultation through directinvolvement to identify and resolve equipment and systemproblems. Provide complete task management of engineering issues. Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applyingengineering principles. Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness ofwork ensuring proper configuration management and assuring thatstandard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are usedin preparation of plans and specifications. Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses insupport of technical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improveperformance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design ormaterial flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B. S.
in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+years’ engineering experience 5 or more years’ solid performance with last two in top half ofEngr 2 band Demonstration of FLS competencies
