Job Description
Med Surg Manager•Med-Surg Unit•Manages the overall operations of a clinical department in a rural hospital in order to provide defined patient care services in a prescribed clinical setting which meets ACH’s standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.
This position works under the general direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Hospital Administrator with the service line responsibility of the position’s assigned unit(s). The position works one regular shift, 5 days per week but is responsible for resolving issues occurring on all shifts, 7 days per week. Incumbents may be subject to hours over 40 per week and callback.
