Medical Director (Family Medicine Physician)-Mobile, AL MedStaff Nationwide Mobile, AL 36604 A respected, mission-driven healthcare organization based in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to join its leadership team as Medical Director. Position Highlights:
Outpatient-only role 70% clinical, 30% administrative duties Monday-Friday schedule (8am-5pm) Minimal call responsibility (1-in-8 rotation) Collaborative, multidisciplinary team (MDs, NPs, RNs, therapists) Structured mentorship available for new graduates
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary care services to adolescent and adult patients using evidence-based practices Lead clinical quality and improvement initiatives Mentor and support physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff Oversee care strategies for high-risk populations and chronic disease management Participate in strategic planning, hiring, and clinical policy development
Qualifications:
MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine Eligible for Alabama medical licensure Strong interest in leadership, team development, and population health
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $250,000-$275,000 depending on experience Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance NHSC Loan Repayment eligibility Nearly 5 weeks of paid time off + 10 paid holidays CME allowance: $1,500 and 5 days annually 403(b) retirement plan Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability + flexible spending account
