The Medical Director is a key leader in the Behavioral HealthDivision of LPG. Reporting to the Chief Physician OperationsExecutive, the Medical Director for Behavioral Health (MDBH) willlead the health system in the transformation to an integratedBehavioral and Mental Health delivery system. The Medical Directorwill dedicate 60% of their time to administrative leadership of theBH outpatient and consult liaison programs; growing the division,forging partnerships, growing programs, supervising and mentoringproviders, and attending meetings. This administrative partnershipwill work in collaboration with the clinic and operations leaderswithin the division, serving as the dyad partner within the BHdivision. This leader will also dedicate 40% of their time toproviding direct clinical care. In addition to the 60%administrative duties and responsibilities as Medical Director,this role will provide 40% direct clinical care in the BH OPdepartment. Ensures excellent clinical care to patients in thepractice and role models the behaviors outlined in the LMHSPhysician Compact. Participates with LPG leadership in planning andexecuting strategy at practice site. Works with practice team toensure an excellent patient experience with attention to patientaccess, employee engagement and clinical performance metrics. Worksclosely with the operational leader to ensure provision of highquality and cost effective services at the medical practice.

Ensures compliance with all rules and policies of LPG as well asall applicable external agencies.
