We are seeking a Program Medical Director to lead and develop a comprehensive neonatal system of care in Las Vegas, NV. The Board-Certified Neonatologist will focus on the clinical practice of a large team of physicians and advanced practitioners. This market approach works closely with three (3) hospitals:
1. Sunrise Children?s Hospital•a Level
III NICU
with 72 beds
2. MountainView Hospital•a Level
III NICU
with 24 beds
3. Southern Hills Medical Center•a Level
III NICU
with 15 beds
These HCA owned hospitals are seeking a collaborative leader to lead and continue helping their hospitals to provide the best possible service to the patients they serve. Combined, they have over 8,000 deliveries and have a combined ADC of 85.
Services include:
Neonatal ECMO, iNO, high frequency ventilation, (jet and oscillators) and total body cooling.
Full pediatric subspecialty support including a busy pediatric cardiovascular surgery program.
Resident and medical student teaching with an opportunity for an academic appointment.
CQI and clinical research opportunities.
The Medical Director will:
Hold administrative responsibilities include developing protocols, policies, processes, and standardizing care across the system.
Lead the strategy for care and growth for the Neonatal services throughout the region.
Interface with the hospital and division leadership teams to manage the relationships with key stakeholders.
Have protected clinical time
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Neonatology
Minimum of 10 years? experience in a leadership role
Advanced Master?s level degree preferred but not required
