Job Description
Walpole Public Schools is seeking a district-wide BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) for the 2025-2026 school year, effective August 25, 2025.

Performance Responsibilities:

Assures that all clinical objectives in each individual’s IEP are addressed. Assures that step by step programs and data collection systems are appropriate and effective.
Collect, review, and analyze the data on a routine basis with relevant staff.
In conjunction with the teaching and management of staff, conducts reliability checks on the training and clinical /educational programs.
Provides clinical/behavioral summaries to IEP Team members and others who have been approved to access data.
Develops and assures that Behavioral Support Plans meet the requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies. Assuring that all necessary reviews and approvals of Behavior Plans are documented appropriately. Develops and oversees student service training curricula in Applied Behavioral Analysis and other treatment methodology.
Monitors behavior of students and intervenes when necessary to ensure the safety to all involved.
Provides crisis intervention to students including safety screenings.
Develop and maintain relationships with agencies providing contracted services.
Identify, develop, and implement alternative program models that meet IEP objectives and standards
Completes Functional Behavioral Assessments with parental consent as proposed by the Team.
Works with staff to ensure that policies and procedures meet regulatory obligations
Initiate and monitor all training and clinical systems within the district setting insuring that these systems are consistent with the established systems within the district as a whole.
Work in collaboration with teachers, coordinators, administrative staff, and paraprofessional to coordinate meetings, trainings, and activities.
Access and streamline presentations of issues related to clinical services and health and safety.
Acts as a liaison between the schools and community making referrals to appropriate community based resources.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

Depth of Knowledge regarding special education laws, regulations, process and procedures
Able to lead and manage staff towards effective practices
Able to confidently and independently solve problems
Strong inter-personal and written/oral communication skills
Facility with data

Qualifications:

Valid BCBA certification
DESE license preferred
This is a non-union position.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
