The Director, Central Verification Office, is a system-level position that reports to the Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer and is responsible for all aspects of medical staff services and credentialing for 451-bed hospital and for payer enrollment and credentialing for physician enterprise. The Director must have a strong orientation to compliance standards, including those from The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, National Committee for Quality Assurance, and other Federal and state regulatory requirements. EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in professional credentialing, preferably in a hospital setting, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Excellent communication and physician relations skills are required, including the ability to collaborate with hospital?s Chief Medical Officer. The Director must be technology-oriented and have or demonstrate competence in obtaining a working knowledge of electronic credentialing, provider databases and meeting management systems.
