Position OverviewThe Medical Director of NC IVF will serve as the clinical leader of the practice, responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care, clinical protocols, and medical team operations.

This individual will work closely with the laboratory, administrative leadership, and broader clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of reproductive medicine, patient safety, and operational excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role as we prepare to merge with a local hospital system – positioning the incoming Medical Director to grow the program within a larger health network, with substantial potential for financial and career advancement.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including fertility consultations, procedures (e.g., egg retrievals, embryo transfers, IUIs), and management of complex reproductive endocrinology cases.

Oversee and continually refine clinical protocols in alignment with current ASRM guidelines and evidence-based best practices.

Collaborate closely with the Embryology and Andrology laboratory teams to optimize outcomes and uphold

CAP/CLIA

standards.

Lead and mentor physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to foster a culture of clinical excellence and professional development.

Participate in strategic planning, including expansion of service lines, technology adoption, and growth initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and quality assurance programs.

Represent NC IVF in professional societies, community outreach, and partnership development initiatives.
