Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Medical Director to lead clinical strategy, quality improvement, and operational efficiency within a dynamic hospital setting. This role will work closely with executive leadership, clinical teams, and support staff to enhance patient outcomes and team performance.

Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives to improve patient safety and clinical quality (e.g., mortality, readmissions, patient experience) Participate in hospital and corporate committees with defined goals and deliverables Manage departmental budget, including revenue and expense oversight Develop and implement clinical best practice protocols Support strategic planning, service expansion, and revenue initiatives Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee physician coding education (e.g., E&M training) Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance evaluation of providers Address patient and provider concerns, fostering timely resolutions Facilitate team meetings to promote communication and collaboration Champion process improvement and address complex operational issues

Candidate Requirements:

Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Graduate of an accredited medical school Current DEA license
