A premier retirement community in the Triangle Area of North Carolina is seeking a dedicated and experienced Geriatrician to join our leadership team as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Medical Director. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the medical and clinical programs at an established and vibrant community serving older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct clinical services, ensuring high-quality care aligned with the community’s mission and values. Serve as the primary medical advisor to residents, families, and staff, fostering collaboration and trust. Lead and mentor an interdisciplinary care team, promoting excellence in resident health and wellness. Develop, implement, and evaluate medical policies and protocols in compliance with regulatory standards. Champion evidence-based practices and innovation in geriatric care.
Ideal Candidate:
Board-certified in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership roles, preferably in a continuing care retirement community or a similar setting. Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with older adults and their families. Proven ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines to achieve organizational goals.
