Description:

Our values are Excellence, Innovation, Commitment, Caring and Integrity! What will you do as a Medical Director? As a Medical Director in the Residential and Community based services department, you will provide overall supervision of all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered in North Carolina. As a Medical Director you will serve as a resource person to staff and participates in staffing for complex or high risk individuals with psychiatric issues. You will remain current with required documentations, assessments and treatment plans and ensure that the treatments are current, appropriate, and follow accepted guidelines and community standards, and are not experimental in nature. The Medical Director will assist with developing, monitoring and evaluating treatment programs and work in collaboration with the operations leadership to identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practice therapies to be employed by staff delivering services.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in. Medical Degree required and must be Board Eligible or a Board Certified Psychiatrist in North Carolina. Must have two or more years of professional experience including face-to-face treatment and interventions working with child, adolescent, and adult mental health. Good verbal and written communication skills needed. Experience indicates strong abilities to work well with other people. Must be enrolled and in good standing with NC Medicaid.

Note:

All residential staff must pass a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and demonstrate proper physical Therapeutic techniques and holds.
