In this role, you will be responsible for creatinghigh-quality scientific communications and educational materialsthat inform, inspire, and engage. Specifically, you will: Develop scientific educational content including slide decks,advisory boards, scientific platforms, and publications (posters,manuscripts) Conduct and communicate background research/information asneeded Work with clients and other team members to develop contentflow in alignment with client’s strategic needs and objectives Develop high quality, accurate content with impactfulvisualization as needed Annotate content to source references Prepare materials for legal and regulatory review withclients Triage stakeholders or authors feedback and updating contentaccordingly Collaborate with account counterparts to track deadlines Quickly develop expertise in multiple disease areas Experience in oncology, ophthalmology and/or immunology is aplus but not required Remaining current on the latest clinical trial data andtreatment trends Prioritize/organize workload and manage multipleworkstreams Conduct background and literature research to support newbusiness efforts Mentor and assist in training junior level team members Build client relationships, through strategic partnership andunderstanding client goals Participate independently in client-facing meetings Travel (e.g. advisory board, conferences, new business pitches)or on-site client visits maybe be required around 10-15% of time
Essential Requirements:
Education:
PhD, MD, PharmD 2-3 years of pharma or medical communication agencyexperience Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interactwith account teams, other writers, editors, creative teams,physicians and clients Analyze and synthesize complex information from multiplesources Communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety ofaudiences Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-orientedenvironment Efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and provide effectivedirection to others; can quickly evaluate the resources necessaryto accomplish a goal and put those into action Microsoft Office Suite experience

The base salary range represents theanticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for thisposition. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such asthe candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, andproficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may includeeligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / orindividual performance.
