Job Description

  • Reports to:
  • Chief Medical Officer
Position Standards:
  • Board certification in the physician’s area of specialty
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire
  • Successful completion of credentialing process for medical staff membership and privileges at APDMH
  • Active APD Medical Staff membership in good standing
  • Working knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
  • Maintenance of active narcotics and controlled substances numbers and licenses
  • At least 5 years experience in Surgery with administrative leadership training
  • Maintains at least 0.6 FTE clinical practice as delineated in physician job description.

  • (Multispecialty Clinic Surgical Services First Floor) MSC1Clinical Leadership and Oversight of Providers.
  • Collaboration with Perioperative Services Leadership for OR operations optimization.
  • Promote a culture of professional behavior in the OR areas by all colleagues. Address any deviation in this area with physician leadership, CMO/MSO as appropriate.
  • Clinical Quality
  • oversightof Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
  • Regulatory
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and protocols.
  • Business Management
  • Collaborates with the MSC Leadership team on overall management of the surgical and specialty clinics.
  • Participates in strategic planning for surgical and specialty services.
