Job Description
- Reports to:
- Chief Medical Officer
Position Standards:
- Board certification in the physician’s area of specialty
- Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program.
- Valid license to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire
- Successful completion of credentialing process for medical staff membership and privileges at APDMH
- Active APD Medical Staff membership in good standing
- Working knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
- Maintenance of active narcotics and controlled substances numbers and licenses
- At least 5 years experience in Surgery with administrative leadership training
- Maintains at least 0.6 FTE clinical practice as delineated in physician job description.

- (Multispecialty Clinic Surgical Services First Floor) MSC1Clinical Leadership and Oversight of Providers.
- Collaboration with Perioperative Services Leadership for OR operations optimization.
- Promote a culture of professional behavior in the OR areas by all colleagues. Address any deviation in this area with physician leadership, CMO/MSO as appropriate.
- Clinical Quality
- oversightof Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
- Regulatory
- Partner with Clinical Leadership to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and protocols.
- Business Management
- Collaborates with the MSC Leadership team on overall management of the surgical and specialty clinics.
- Participates in strategic planning for surgical and specialty services.
