Job:
The Director, Oncology Services is a strategic and operational leader for oncology programs at FMP and SNHH. This role provides executive oversight for Foundation Hematology/Oncology and related departments, with responsibility for program development, financial performance, and administrative operations. The Director ensures excellence in cancer services, leads multidisciplinary teams, and aligns oncology strategy with health system goals.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the Cancer Service Line, overseeing Foundation Hematology/Oncology and related departments Provide fiscal and operational oversight, ensuring financial health and efficiency Develop and implement oncology service lines and strategic initiatives Recruit, mentor, and support clinical and administrative staff Foster partnerships with aligned oncology providers and community stakeholders Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and deliver high-quality care Collaborate with medical, nursing, and administrative leaders to align clinical practices Drive innovation in oncology programming, resource allocation, and patient services Represent cancer services in strategic planning, philanthropy, and community engagement Serve as liaison to senior leadership, maintaining strong internal and external relationships
Who You Are:
Experienced leader with at least 5 years in healthcare management Skilled in strategic planning, budgeting, operations, and team leadership Strong communicator and collaborator with analytical and problem-solving skills Proven track record in program development and organizational performance Healthcare related Bachelor’s degree preferred Knowledgeable in healthcare compliance, resource management, and clinical operations Proficient in financial and data analysis, with computer literacy
