POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Medical Director leads and oversees Wexford Health’s medical practice on a state-wide basis in order to ensure and promote quality medical care. Serves as the liaison between Wexford Health and the New Hampshire Department of Corrections medical authority. TRAVEL Some travel to NH DOC facilities – most located in Concord with 1 in Berlin
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS LICENSING
Current New Hampshire physician license (required at start date, can assist in attaining N license) Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance & DEA license (required at start date)
CERTIFICATION
Current CPR certification hands-on (required at start date)
EDUCATION
Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 5
years clinical experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred. 2 years managerial/leadership experience or training in administrative aspects of health care preferred.
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION
