Job Description:
IMMEDIATE CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Cornerstone Day School is seeking a full-time Director of Eating Disorders to support middle school and high school students. The candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. The Director of Eating Disorders serves as the point person for eating disorder services between Leadership, staff, students, families, and school districts. They promote Cornerstone Day School’s mission and values and ensure timely, professional information and services to students, families, and district case managers
Cornerstone Day School is a unique therapeutic special education school for students with significant emotional problems that integrates state-of-the-art psychiatric treatment with outstanding academics. You will work with a highly seasoned and professional management team that provides the best possible clinical and educational services.
Responsibilities include:
Directs the day-to-day operations of the eating disorder program and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.
Supervises the implementation of treatment protocols for eating disorder students.
Develops and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain eating disorder program goals and objectives.
Oversees the program’s productivity to meet established goals and to ensure continuity of care.
Assists with behavior and crisis management.
Facilitates IEP meetings and weekly Treatment Team meetings for those students in the ED program.
Coordinatesmunication with the school, case managers, and family members.
Informs Leadership and Staff of Clinical Issues of eating disorder students.
Adheres to CDS’s policies and procedures.
Adheres to CDS’s code of ethics andplies with the state mental health code.
Maintains a professional relationship with all staff, students, and families.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Clinical expertise in eating disorders crisis intervention, skill in working with students with eating disorders, and with individuals undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress, skill in diagnosis and assessment.
Ability to work as part of aprehensive mental health team and represent CDS professionally and positively.
