PM Job Description Purpose:

In conjunction with the Chairperson and under general supervision of the AED as well as Assistant Director of Ambulatory Care services. Provides assistance in the administration and supervision of activities within a group of services within the health care setting. Responsible oversight of Primary Care, Women’s Health & Pediatrics departments as well as supporting Ambulatory Care services as assigned. manages the technical, managerial, ancillary, clerical and support staff of these departments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

The Associate Director Level III is charged with and responsible for: Responsible the day to day operations of the Primary Care I & II, Women’s Health & Pediatrics outpatient clinics Perform regular chart reviews to ensure appropriate registration and productivity Monitors flows and make changes as appropriate Lead & collaborate on service line optimization assessments and implementation Coordinates schedules, staffing and coverage Generate & track service line specific analytics for women’s health & pediatrics office practices Work with call center and coordinate appointment requests Manage physician templates & collaborate with ambulatory leadership to enhance access for Women’s Health & Pediatrics office practices Coordinate & maintain grant required reports and related materials. Participate in service line budget development and administration. Develop workstreams to increase efficiency and create department costs savings. Maintain work lists & patient referral work-queues in Epic and reschedule patients as needed Monitor visit information for weekly access initiative submission for Women’s health/Pediatric office practice Manage the revenue capture and EPIC registration reports Manage EPIC work queues for claim edits and DNB stop bills Coordination of outpatient appointment for post op patient and ED follow ups Coordination of Healthy Baby and Healthy Mommy initiative Oversee and prepare DOH & State required reports. Interacts with patients, visitors and staff members in a professional manner Provide back up to the Pap Smear Coordinator Performs other tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline; and Four (4) years of administrative experience and background at responsible management and administrative levels; or An equivalent combination of training, educational background and experience in related fields and educational disciplines may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Department Preferences Competence in Epic Cadence, Wisdom, Radiant and Template Manager, Omnioro, EPACES, insurance portals and Q-med (review MD history) functions is necessary. Exceptional customer service skills required. Good organizational and time management skills required. Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
