We are located in Nyack NY, Rockland County, a non-profit community hospital, Montefiore Nyack. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the George Washington Bridge and centralized near North Bergen County of NJ and Westchester County. The Medical Director provides exceptional patient care and performs surgeries for our patients within the community and provides a continuum of care, assessing the needs of the patient. Directs patients to the next appropriate service and tracks their progress. Assures that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicated, and that all medical patient care is appropriately documented in the

EMR, EPIC.

Additionally, the Medical Director will ensure compliance with National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers standards and participate in the Cancer Committee as the Cancer Liaison Physician.

Essential Job Qualifications:

NYS Physician license required. Board certified/Board Eligible. A strong clinical background in breast surgery and/or surgical oncology is essential. Experience with clinical leadership, strategic planning and team management is highly desirable. Must be qualified for membership on the Medical Staff. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Works effectively as a member of a culturally competent multidisciplinary team, have a thorough understanding of member rights, and knowledge of basic medical practice.
