Responsible for overseeing and directing all policy andoperational aspects of SummaCare’s medical and clinical activities,including, but not limited to, quality improvement, utilizationmanagement & care coordination, pharmacy services, care & diseasemanagement, operating procedures, and medical practices ∫erpretations. Ensure compliance with accrediting standards andregulations related to health care services. Oversight of clinicalanalytics and reporting around clinical key performance drivers.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.

Formal Education Required:

a) Doctor ofMedicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). b) Unrestricted licenseto practice medicine in the State of Ohio. 2.

Experience andTraining Required:

a) 10 years performing same or similarresponsibilities.

Relevant experience includes:

demonstratedleadership experience in medical profession and health plan medicaldirector or CMO roles, and expert knowledge of health careeconomics as it pertains to both clinical and managed caresettings. Minimum 5 years experience in Utilization Management andQuality Improvement initiatives also including HEDIS, NCQA and CMSSTARs quality. 3.

a)Demonstrate excellent leadership and managerial skills. b) Read,analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, medicaljournals, technical procedures, and government regulations. c) Makesound decisions and recommendations based on consideration offacts, priorities, resources, constraints, and alternatives. d)Foster a positive and team oriented environment. e) Organize andmanage time to accurately complete tasks within designated timeframes in fast-paced environment. f) Maintain current knowledge ofand comply with regulatory and company policies & procedures. g)Maintain confidentiality of member health information and businessinformation. h)
