Opportunity:

SeekingBC/BE Psychiatrist for Medical Director role 40 hours per week or 7on/7 off Adult Acute Care unit that currently has 16 beds. Theprovider sees patients on the inpatient unit sharing thoseresponsibilities with an APP and sees consults on the medicaltower. Help determine admissions from the Emergency Department.

Approximately 4 patients per provider plus patients needing consulton the medical tower – usually 1-3 patients per day. Participate inthe strategic direction of Behavioral Health, support improvementin the care of this patient population and partner with serviceline leadership to achieve these goals. 4 APPs to support inpatientand outpatient services. 5 fulltime therapists
