The Department of Radiology and Radiologic Sciences atVanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding! We areseeking a full-time emergency radiologist to join our EmergencyRadiology section, which is comprised of board-certifiedradiologists with varying fellowship specializations, includingneuroradiology, pediatric radiology, abdominal radiology andmusculoskeletal radiology. Our team of emergency radiologistsprovide evening and overnight coverage to the VUMC and VanderbiltChildren s Emergency Departments, including a Level I TraumaCenter, as part of a 7 days on, 14 days off coverage model.
Position Summary:
Section comprised of 10 fellowship-trained faculty Services provided to the Emergency Departments at VanderbiltUniversity Medical Center system, including a Level 1 trauma centerand Children s Hospital. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience Average commute is 20-30 minutes This position can be onsite, remote or a hybrid combination.
Position Requirements:
Fellowship training Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, BodyImaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging or Pediatric Radiologypreferred Hold an MD or equivalent degree ABR eligible/certified Eligible for TN license Comfortable in interpretation of Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, andNeuroradiology emergency room related studies at a Level 1 traumacenter Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and education oftrainees and medical students
