Insurance Coordinator East Limestone Family Dental 15059 East Limestone Road, Harvest, AL 35749 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing insurance claims and ensuring compliance with medical billing standards. This position is essential for maintaining accurate medical records and facilitating effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Duties Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments. Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology and coding practices. Manage records and ensure they are complete and compliant with legal standards. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and claims status. Requirements Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting preferred. Strong understanding of dental coding and familiarity with insurance verification processes. Knowledge of dental terminology and HIPAA compliance is essential.
