Job Summary The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a fast-paced dental environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members. Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for providers. Present treatment plans and help patients understand their options Collect patient information, including insurance details, and verify eligibility for services Maintain accurate patient records in Oryx, ensuring compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Handle billing inquiries and process payments as necessary. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean front desk area. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience Confident with PPO insurance verification , breakdowns, and billing Comfortable presenting treatment plans and building rapport Familiarity with dental software (bonus if you know Oryx or other cloud systems) Team-first attitude — willing to jump in where needed Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multi-line calls effectively. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential. Why Join Us?
