Someone to be the right hand to the doctor and to keep the office running by using KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) to assure that you and the other staff members are continually striving to keep the office as efficient and productive as possible. Many of the attributes necessary for this position are: 1) Extremely organized 2) Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish 3) Speak respectfully and patiently when responding to patients 4) Self-motivated 5) Great work ethic Some of the important aspects to the position are: 1) Answering phones to convert the caller into a patient 2) Scheduling, collecting copays, deductibles, etc. Being comfortable speaking with patients about money has to be second nature 3) Training staff and maintaining their KPI to assure all of the duties they are responsible for are being completed 4) Insurance payments, denials, billing accuracy 5) Creating weekly Newsletters 6) Collections for unpaid claims 7) Calling on case status with attorneys offices 8) Jump in to help with therapy when necessary. This does not happen often but you will be trained on how to put patients on therapy to better assist with your ability to help and train the existing or potential new therapists. 9) Keep track of office supplies and order them when necessary 10) Assure that the staff is keeping the office tidy 11) Going into multiple systems to print up payments made from those companies 12) Verifying Health insurance and training other staff members to assist with this process. Creating SOP’s for this so that all front desks know how to easily check insurance benefits quickly and accurately. 13) Create new procedures that will assist the office to run more smoothly. 14) Weekly meetings to go over KPIs and keep everyone updated on what that week is going to look like If you are passionate about improving healthcare practices and have the skills necessary to lead a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as our Practice Manager.
