Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonary Medical Office Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our healthcare facility in Hallandale Beach. The ideal candidate will be responsible to maintain departmental standards of quality in management of services, personnel and resources for the clinical divisions. Coordinates and supervises and evaluates daily operational needs. Responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining division with budgetary guidelines. Maintains departmental policy and procedural manuals for all divisions. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional teamwork, and exhibit the following characteristics: independence, results-driven attitude, leadership skills, proactivity, autonomy, and a strong sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflow, efficient patient care, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Staff Supervision:

Lead and manage a team of medical administrative staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Medical Coding and Billing:

Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures and diagnoses using CPT codes and ICD-10, and oversee billing processes to maximize revenue and minimize errors.

Patient Relations:

Maintain excellent patient relations by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Financial Management:

Manage office finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and monitoring of expenses.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality assurance measures to uphold standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Technology Integration:

Oversee the implementation and utilization of electronic health records (EMR) and other technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, with a focus on medical coding and billing. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Demonstrated autonomy and the ability to make sound decisions independently. A strong sense of urgency and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
