Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing medical clinics, ensuring efficient systems and processes are in place to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain financial oversight, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Uphold, teach, and enforce FKP Core Values. Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Cross cover for Medical Assistant when necessary (taking vitals, rooming, chart prep, reviewing labs, and prescription refills). Cross cover for Front Desk when necessary (check-in, check-out, and scheduling appointments). Implement and monitor utilization management strategies to optimize resource use and improve patient outcomes. Assist with the implementation of company policies and procedures, and monitor compliance of policies and procedures. Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. Supervise human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office staff. Provide medical administrative support to physicians and clinical staff as needed. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards to maintain accreditation. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Skills Proficient in using EMR systems, especially Athena. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external stakeholders. Knowledge of financial management principles within a healthcare setting. Experience in utilization management to enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with human resources practices related to hiring and employee management in a medical environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality patient care. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
