The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management and be skilled in patient service. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional support to both patients and staff. Duties Manage and coordinate the scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and time. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with clinic policies. Oversee clerical tasks related to medical billing and coding, including familiarity with ICD-10 codes. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts effectively. Maintain phone etiquette while managing incoming calls through phone systems. Train and supervise staff on scheduling protocols and best practices. Assist in the development of scheduling policies to improve operational efficiency. Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks related to patient records and billing. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a dental clinic or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and ICD-10 coding is preferred. Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail for documentation review. Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff. Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
