Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. This is a key leadership role within our practice, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:
  • Manage and supervise all staff members, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and kennel staff
  • Develop and implement protocols and procedures to ensure smooth operation of the practice
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies, medications, and equipment
  • Coordinate scheduling of appointments, surgeries, and other procedures
  • Oversee financial aspects of the practice, including billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or issues that arise
  • Assist with animal care duties as needed, including animal restraint, grooming, catheterization, and aseptic technique
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary practice management role is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology, procedures, and best practices
  • Familiarity with animal care and husbandry techniques
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in computer software applications related to veterinary practice management We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
