That is us, 39 year family-owned Winter Park Veterinary Hospital . Pay is almost entirely dependent on your experience, skills and ability to work well with our fast-paced teams. We have a robust benefits package including multi-pet discounts, retirement savings program, health/vision/disability, continuing education, and much more!
WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE?
We do it all (almost)! (We even set a tarantula’s broken leg!) WPVH is one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the region. It is owned by the Hess family and has been in business since 1955. They took it over 39 years ago and it remains one of a dwindling number of vet hospitals that isn’t owned by large corporations. We’re a 7-day a week, 9 doctor practice specializing in dogs and cats, reptiles and other exotics, small mammals, birds, holistic medicine, behavior and wildlife. We have separate boarding and Playcamp departments, as well as a Wellness Center on campus, handle urgent and emergency care at the main hospital, and are always advocates of the Gentle Pet Approach.
COMMUNITY
We think it’s critical that we give back to the community and do so in a wide variety of ways.
Here are just two:
WPVH has been the primary veterinary services provider for the Florida Audubon Society for over 29 years. We also are a wildlife intake facility where we stabilize animals and birds so they can be released for continuing care with our rehabilitation partners. If this sounds interesting, and if you’re up for a significant upgrade in your job, please send your resume and a cover letter telling us why you think you might fit the bill! We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
