As a Territory Sales Manager for our Veterinary SalesTeam, you are the face behind our brand as these providers considerPro Plan Veterinary Diets®. Proper nutrition is key to optimal dogand cat health. It is an idea carried throughout our entire line ofveterinary pet food—specialized nutrition that makes a difference.
Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® include products focused on dietarymanagement of dogs and cats with specific health problems. Thisrole will provide you an incredible portfolio of formulas torepresent each of them backed by scientific research and Purina’sunparalleled pet expertise. Globally, Nestlé has 27 research,development, and technology centers along with over 500 scientistsdedicated to ensuring top quality and creating innovativeapproaches to make the lives of dogs and cats better. Throughcontinuous training, Territory Sales Managers will develop anexpertise in our diets and strategic sales plans, just as you’llneed to understand our channel partners’ goals, so that we aresimultaneously creating a healthier pet community and gainingmarket share. You’ll achieve this through your high level ofprofessionalism, entrepreneurial spirit, advocacy, and businessacumen as you leverage Purina’s advancing technology andindustry-leading innovation to nurture relationships with currentclients and build new client business. Promote Pro Plan VeterinaryDiet® product line Grow the Purina Veterinary business by usinginnovative sales and marketing concepts to achieve assigned goalsin all key measures Call on existing and potential clients tocreate targeted, brand-building sales and marketing programs todrive volume and hit quantitative and qualitative sales goalsDevelop and implement strategic business plans within assignedgeography Create a positive Purina experience by providing top-tiercustomer service to clients through a consultative selling approachWork cross-functionally with regional teams, distributor channel,and counterparts across the country Influence with integrity byidentifying each clinic’s business needs, and then leveragingconsumer insights and trends to support your recommendationsDevelop and foster business relationships with key decision makersto gain active recommendations of Purina to veterinary clientsProvide Nutritional Pet Food Diet expertise to Veterinarians andtheir staff through clinic calls, product detailing/comparisons,

You arerequired to have a valid state driver’s license, a satisfactorydriving record and carry automobile insurance in the followingamounts: $100,000 bodily injury liability per person $300,000bodily injury liability per occurrence $50,000 property damage Mustbe able to travel, including overnight as needed to manage theassigned territory Must have reliable transportation in order tomanage the assigned territory In order to be considered for thisrole, you must be willing to relocate: If you currently reside inthe territory, you may need to be open to relocate for futureadvancement opportunities If you currently do not reside in theterritory, you will need to relocate to the territory upon offeracceptance and for future advancement opportunities Don’t meet allthe qualifications listed under “other”? Please note that the payrange provided is a good faith estimate for the position at thetime of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factorsincluding but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities aswell as geographic location.
