Our large and rapidly growing dental practice is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead our dynamic team and support day-to-day operations.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a strong second-in-command to support our Office Manager, uphold our systems, and ensure our team remains organized, accountable, and energized.
Position Overview:
As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Office Manager and doctors to ensure smooth daily operations, effective team communication, and consistent execution of systems. This role is ideal for someone with previous dental or healthcare management experience who loves building strong teams and maintaining structure in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily front and back-office operations
- Hold team members accountable to established systems and expectations
- Assist with staff scheduling, checklists, and task delegation
- Oversee treatment plan presentation protocols and follow-up
- Monitor patient flow, troubleshoot scheduling issues, and assist with same-day adjustments
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Help lead team meetings and contribute to practice improvement initiatives
- Provide backup for Office Manager when needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a dental or healthcare setting (lead or supervisory role preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage people, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive team culture
- Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft) is a plus
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Flexible, solutions-oriented, and proactive mindset
