Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Training & development 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Full job description We are looking for an Assistant to our Office manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures in an established dental practice. Assistant Dental Office Manager supports the office manager by performing any daily front office tasks, managing patient relations, and assisting with staff management. They also assist with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and financial matters.

Patient Relations:

Greeting patients, answering phone call inquiries, addressing complaints, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Front Office Operations:

Managing patient scheduling and maintaining a productive schedule, verifying insurance, processing payments, handling billing questions & inquiries. Send out greeting referral cards after new patient’s appointments via mail.

Treatment Coordinator:

Present any treatment plans to patients when the manager is unavailable/busy or presenting treatment to another patient.

Staff Support:

Assisting with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, as needed. (ex. any time we are short staff)

Inventory Management:

Assisting with managing office supplies and equipment.

Compliance:

Understanding and adhering to dental office policies, OSHA & HIPPA regulations, and keeping office compliant other relevant guidelines. He/She should create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. The duties and responsibilities include maintaining a productive schedule, managing staff, welcoming and resolving patients concerns and providing support to our doctors and staff members. Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager or Dental Receptionist & Treatment Coordinator is a plus. Must be familiar with Dentrix. Front desk experience and Spanish a plus. Ultimately, the candidate should be able to contribute to the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.
