The practice offers a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to crowns and bridges.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our practice’s daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of dental office management, and a commitment to providing excellent patient experiences. This role involves overseeing administrative staff, managing financial operations, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise and support front desk staff, dental assistants, and administrative team members. Recruit, train, and onboard new employees. Conduct performance reviews and implement staff development plans.
Financial & Operational Management:
Oversee patient billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable. Monitor office budgets, expenses, and financial reports. Optimize scheduling to maximize efficiency and patient flow.
Patient Relations & Customer Service:
Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for patients. Handle patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner. Implement strategies to improve patient retention and satisfaction.
Compliance & Office Organization:
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation. Oversee supply management and vendor relations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in dental office management preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Software Knowledge:
Familiarity with dental practice management software
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Financial Acumen:
Experience with budgeting, billing, and insurance processing.
Customer Service:
Ability to handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
