Carestack practice management software experience is preferred, but not required.

They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the team has adequate support to work efficiently including but not limited to taking calls, filling the schedule, treatment plan presentation, utilizing patient financing options, verifying insurance, processing insurance claims and other various tasks. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. Dental knowledge and experience is a must.
MUST HAVE
at least 2 years current experience in a dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Present Treatment Plans Answer telephones, transfer calls, and handle general office duties. Provide information to patients about the business and their insurance options. File insurance claims and ensure that all records are up-to-date. Greet dental patients, insurance representatives, and company staff members. Answer questions about insurance coverage and billing procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Present treatment plans and utilize different financing options.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental scheduling software (Carestack)
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Manage office supplies and inventory
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, specifically dental terminology
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- Experience with dental scheduling software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills and ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling paperwork
