Job Description

  • BluePearl Pet Hospital in Savannah, GA is seeking a motivated and skill Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead and elevate our incredible team of veterinary professionals!   • Schedule:
  • 4 days / week, 10 hour shifts, weekends by on-call schedule for inpatients only.
  • Pay:
  • $26.00 – $40.80 / hour + competitive shift differentials
  • _This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience._

  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency. +
  • Support performance and development
  • : Mentor and train new staff, administer disciplinary actions, implement PIPs, and foster cross-training and skill growth in collaboration with leadership. +
  • Support hiring and onboarding:
  • Assist with recruitment and ensure new team members are effectively integrated into hospital workflows and culture. +
  • Drive team development:
  • Approve skill competencies, track individual progress, and communicate updates clearly and promptly. +
  • Contribute to financial efficiency
  • : Maintain awareness of P&L statements, monitor labor ratios, and support cost-effective decision-making. +
  • Support operational initiatives:
  • Participate in BPU tracking, assist with MARS action plans, and share Regional Nursing Partner (RNP) updates with the team. +
  • Stay current with compliance:
  • Follow and implement federal and state regulations related to DEA, OSHA, and radiation safety, ensuring hospital adherence. +
  • Foster a collaborative culture:
  • Promote a respectful, team-oriented environment and partner with Hospital Leadership on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement. +

Annual Scrub Allowance:

  • Continuing Education Plan
  • includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS.

The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours.
