Practice Manager for 2-Provider Cardiology Practice Confidential Cumming, GA 30040 Seeking Practice Manager for 2 Provider Cardiology Practice in Cumming, GA Hands-on Practice Manager needed to oversee day-to-day operations of our growing, 2 location practice! This position interacts with the providers and staff in all areas of the practice as well as with external partners including patients, referring physicians, vendors and I.T. support Requires 3+ years of experience in medical practice operations, hands-on experience in all aspects of credentialing and medical billing, practice operations and personnel management. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Oversight of day-to-day operations of medical practice including managing administrative and off site billing staff Hands-on experience in front desk, insurance verification, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding and charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting and support for A/R follow-up and reporting Credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers Leadership of personnel functions to include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees and other H/R related functions Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to reach out to new referral sources and maintain excellent relations with hospitals and referral sources Must be willing to travel to potential referral sources and present information about the practice in a warm and professional manner Assisting in establishing a culture of excellent customer service and addressing patient issues in a timely and supportive manner Familiarity with wage and hour regulations, leadership and team management skills; experience with benefits, onboarding, training and staff development Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to prioritize tasks Excellent opportunity for a self-starter with healthcare management, operations and personnel management experience.
