PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENINGS
Brenau University will conduct criminal background checks on all persons being considered for initial employment. In some circumstances, an FBI fingerprint report may be necessary to satisfy the requirement. Once employed, employees must hold and continue to maintain a favorable criminal history background. Random background checks are performed. Credit checks may be performed on candidates/employees who are selected for a position that regularly engages in handling credit cards or other company monies. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) may be performed during the hiring process, or as part of a random check. MVR checks are required to meet insurance requirements for those employees operating a university vehicle or participating in any driving activity on behalf of Brenau University, (including operating a golf cart, rented vehicle or one’s personal vehicle). Employees who travel must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Georgia driver’s license, and good driving record. Responsibilities:
Establishes office structure and organization of the office Schedules appointments for the Director of the MIGSON as requested.
Assist in coordinating nursing events:
White Coat, Orientation, Pinning Ceremonies and Registration etc Assists with management of Account Payables for the MIGSON Coordinates orientation and welcome packets for all new students Manages initial clinical requirements in ACEMAPP for all incoming nursing students (program specific) Coordinates and manages all faculty clinical records in ACEMAPP Distribute alumni surveys annually using Formstack. Coordinates, manages, schedules and orders HESI Admission Tests Proctors HESI Admission Tests Proctors students taking make-up tests as requested by faculty or program chairs Coordinate and reserve rooms on the North Atlanta Campus for classes, meetings, and events Coordinates catering for MIGSON major events Coordinate travel for the Director and Faculty as needed Manages advisor/advisee lists Record and distribute minutes for the graduate faculty committee meetings Manages the onboarding process for all North Atlanta Campus nursing cohorts Address inquiries related to admissions for pre-nursing students through both phone and email channels, and refer any relevant queries to the Chair or Faculty Coordinates mail delivery with the main campus Assist in the onboarding process for new hires (keys, monitor, phone etc.) Supervises work study students. Work Hours & Schedule:
Full-time. 37.5 hours per week. Generally, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department.

Environmental and Working Conditions/ Physical Demands and Aptitudes:
Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must have the ability to travel short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Exerting up to 15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
