Ensures the implementation of Council directed operating policies within assigned region. Assists in developing operations plans, budgets and tactics for offices in the region. Supervises office managers and cluster managers, guides and assists them in managing the operations of their assigned offices, and leads implementation teams responsible for projects and initiatives with the region. Also provides leadership, direction, and guidance to office staff members. Implements and monitors the financial performance of all physician practices in assigned region including break even action planning/plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Broad knowledge of physician practices and experience in physician practice management. Proven ability to formulate and carry out operational plans for physician practices. Experience in management and supervisory leadership. Demonstrated knowledge of physician practice financial administration and revenue cycle management for physicians. Knowledge of legal issues related to physician practices, employment law and fraud/abuse rules. Knowledge of project planning and ability to coordinate various projects and activities concurrently. Bachelor’s degree preferred or previous experience of at least 8-10 years in medical office management. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and conflict-resolution skills. Skill in communicating, including written and oral communication and making presentations to groups. Skill in utilizing desktop computers and calculators. Skill in project planning and management and ability to oversee and coordinate various projects and activities concurrently.
