The ideal candidate must be an upbeat, positive individual with the ability to lead and manage a small team of veterinary nurses, kennel assistants and customer service representatives (CSRs). The candidate would work closely with the practice owners and act as a liaison between all staff members. The responsibilities of the practice manager position include, but are not limited to: assist in the hiring and training of new staff members; maintaining inventory and inventory control systems; creating staff schedules; social media and website updating; meeting with drug company representatives; supervising support staff and working with practice owners to resolve staff issues.
Qualifications:
⦁ Veterinary office manager (2 years) preferred ⦁ Previous leadership experience required ⦁ Bachelor’s required ⦁ Ability to be a coach and team player Schedule would be Mon-Fri from 7:30 to 5 with a 1.5 hour lunch break. Compensation will be discussed during interview process but will be commensurate with experience.
