We’re hiring a Medical Office Coordinator who is ready to grow into a full-time salaried leadership role in our South Charlotte and Matthews offices. About the Role This is not just another front desk job — it’s an opportunity for an organized, growth-minded individual to take charge of their career. You’ll begin by mastering the role of Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), then transition into a salaried Practice Manager position over time based on performance. Key Responsibilities Phase 1
- Training (3-4 weeks): Train 4-5 days per week at either South Charlotte or Matthews office Learn all front office systems, patient workflows, packages and protocols Phase 2
- PCC Role (~8-12 weeks): Serve as primary PCC at our Matthews office Manage phones, scheduling, check-ins, payments, and EMR documentation Provide excellent customer service and support a smooth clinic workflow Phase 3
- Transition to
Leadership:
Train and mentor a new PCC to take over your current duties Begin taking on management responsibilities such as team coordination, scheduling, inventory, and overseeing front office operations Phase 4
- Practice Manager (~35-40 hrs/week, salaried): Oversee daily operations at both locations Develop and implement training modules Lead staff communications, meetings, and training Monitor timecards, scheduling, and supply needs Serve as liaison between clinical staff and ownership
Note:
While we’re actively improving our training systems, this role will require strong self-direction, adaptability, and initiative. Ideal Candidate 2+ years of experience in a medical or wellness office Dependable, discreet, and emotionally mature Calm under pressure and confident in leadership settings Eager to contribute to a growing team Skilled at both patient service and operational follow-through Understands and maintains healthy, professional boundaries in the workplace Location & Schedule Training Phase (3-4 weeks): Training will take place 4-5 days per week at either our South Charlotte or Matthews locations, depending on where the best training opportunity is on a given day. Flexibility is essential to ensure full exposure to our systems and workflows. Patient Care Coordinator Role (8-12 weeks): You will be primarily based at our Matthews office, with occasional coverage at our Ballantyne location as needed. - 2:00 PM Manager Role (~40 hrs/week, salaried): Once the new PCC is fully prepared to take over day-to-day responsibilities, you will transition into the full-time salaried Practice Manager role.
Your home base will remain the Matthews office, but you will be expected to rotate between both locations regularly to support operations and staff. Exact compensation and schedule once in the manager role will be discussed during the interview process. Compensation & Benefits $22
