Position Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with established policies and regulations. The Practice Manager will also handle financial aspects, such as budget monitoring and billing processes, while fostering a positive work environment. The position requires a focus on patient relations, quality improvement initiatives, and the integration of relevant technologies to enhance clinic operations.

Responsibilities include:
Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Implement and manage systems for appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to staff.

Financial Management:

Monitor and manage the clinic’s budget, including revenue and expenses.
Collaborate with finance and billing teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

Patient Relations:

Ensure exceptional patient experiences through effective communication and customer service.
Address patient concerns and complaints, seeking resolutions in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain patient satisfaction initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay current on healthcare regulations and industry standards.
Ensure the clinic’s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any issues or concerns.

Quality Improvement:

Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of care.
Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.

Technology Integration:

Evaluate and implement relevant technologies to improve clinic operations.
Oversee the adoption and effective use of electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant systems.

Communication and Collaboration:

Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments and external partners to achieve clinic goals.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Compensation is also based on number of providers of assigned jurisdiction. This is an exempt position.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associate’s Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience
Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management.
Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Required Registration/License/Certification
Certification in healthcare management or related field is a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven leadership skills for team motivation.
Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Financial acumen, including budgeting.
In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations.
Proficient in healthcare management software and EHR systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strategic thinking for goal-oriented contributions.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, and move within the clinic environment.
