Office manager with front desk duties for solo practitioner office. Excellent phone etiquette, interpersonal skills and Professional appearance in the work place are required . Only serious applicants with experience as dental office manager are encouraged to apply. The description below is an entry level position. A more seasoned individual is highly encourage to apply as well. The front desk coordinator’s responsibilities include entering patient information onto our data system, answering patients’ questions, and arranging referrals to other dental specialists. You should also be able to prepare billing statements, set financial arrangements and collect payments. To be successful as a front desk coordinator, you should be able to organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Ultimately, a top-performing dental receptionist will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed. Assisting patients to fill out information forms. Preparing patients’ daily schedules for the dental staff. Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders. Communicating with medical insurance providers to submit pre authorization. Dental Insurance automatic verification. Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed. Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, scanning and faxing. Requesting patients to leave reviews, joint social media and enroll in Allé program. Cleaning and maintaining the office to keep a presentable appearance at all times. Events coordinator to attract patients to the office. Promote our services to other businesses. Organizing and leading marketing events in the township.
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelors degree . Certification in office administration, dental administration, or related fields is advantageous. Proven experience working in a dental office. Sound knowledge of dental terminology. Proficient in dental practice management software (Denticon preferable). Working knowledge of general administrative practices. Sound computer knowledge. Excellent telephone etiquette. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Denticon software experience a plus! Spanish speaker, helpful. Job Type:
Hourly Full time and two Saturdays per month ( start 32 to 40 hours a week ). Mondays 8:30 am to 8 pm Tuesdays 8:30 am to 7 pm Thursdays 8:30 to 7 pm. Wednesday 9 to 5 pm ( every other) Saturdays 7:30 am to 5 pm ( two Saturdays per month) A salary position is suggested after a 90 days period.
