Position Overview:

The veterinary hospital manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring smooth business functions, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining a high standard of client service. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the hospital, including scheduling, staff supervision, and inventory Oversee, maintain, and develop hospital policies and standard operating procedures Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve performance goals and uphold hospital culture Handle human resources tasks such as hiring, training, benefits coordination, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (OSHA, DEA, etc.) Foster strong client relationships and ensure a consistently positive client experience Work collaboratively with veterinarians and medical staff to support top-tier patient care Qualifications 2+ years of management experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Knowledge of HR, financial management, and customer service best practices Knowledge of veterinary software systems a plus CVPM certification a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff. A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners is crucial.
