Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Manage and assist in all Front Desk operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward Maintain appropriate inventory levels for Front Office Supplies and Gift Shop Items Complete weekly department schedule to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met Understand service and satisfaction trends and develop strategies to improve the overall guest experience Promote company culture of delivering an outstanding experience to guests and Team Members Assist with managing sell out efficiency Knowledgeable and up to date with events taking place in the local Aiken market Assist/complete any special assignments from the General Manager as needed As the Front Office Manager, the focus should always be to complete work on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
