Req # 27504 The Office Manager supervises and coordinates all office activities to insure efficient daily operations of physician practice. Duties include management of day to day operations and oversight of physician office, including but not limited to, staffing (both clinical and clerical personnel), human resource management, operations and financial management and direct supervision of the billing, insurance and collections functions of the office. Assure that site and staff follow policy, procedure and regulatory (Joint Commission, OSHA, DHEC) standards. Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred. Extensive physician office clerical, billing, and/or medical assisting experience required, management experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience in billing/ insurance or management required; preferably in medical field. Requires strong administrative, organizational, professional and computer skills.
