The Office Supervisor-Dental is part of the person-centeredintegrated care team and is responsible for patient flow andstaffing in the dental areas. Provides direct supervision to thefollowing position: Customer Relations Specialists. Providesback-up for these positions as needed. This is a full-time, benefiteligible position. Primary shift will be Monday-Friday, 7:45 am to4:15 pm. Shifts may vary within the hours of operation(7:30am-6pm)to provide coverage as needed. This position willoversee the Keene and Providence office locations.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

Responsible for efficient and effectivefront desk operations Ensures excellent customer service experiencefor all internal/external customers Maintains positive,goal-oriented work environment Ensures that assigned staff areadhering to established protocols Consistently address, documentand review personnel concerns with Office Manager-DentalResponsible for verifying accuracy of payment posting and batchesfor direct staff Verifies accuracy of batches prior to making bankdeposits Completes bank deposits Provides batch reports and depositreports to Administration Reviews and signs off on all sliding feepaperwork Serves as the initial contact for the resolution ofproblems, escalated or difficult issues regarding patientcomplaints and other matters Schedules CRS staff to ensure coveragefor office locations Works to ensure provider scheduling is correctStaff Management and Development Supervise Customer RelationsSpecialists With Office Manager-Dental, assure adequate staffingpatterns to meet needs With Office Manager-Dental, orient newpersonnel as needed Disseminate information regarding policies andprocedures to direct reports Perform performance evaluations fordirect report staff Provide back up to staff as needed; including,but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling and collectingcopays, etc. Will ensure that staff seek culturally competentservices and service providers to meet the unique cultural needs ofeach patient Provide back up as needed for the following duties:

Registration of new patients Enters new patient demographics,including insurance coverage, per completed intake paperworkReviews intake paperwork for completeness for medical, dental andbehavioral health Meets with new patients to review clientinformation data for accuracy and explain agency MissedAppointment/Cancellation/Payment policies and collects co-paymentsfor all patients, if applicable Reschedules or assists patient inmaking payment arrangements, per agency policy, if patient does nothave their co-pay Verifies patient’s eligibility for the slidingfee scale if they report no income Provide Office Manager-Dentalwith reports on office efficiency and patient flow as requested.

Advise Office Manager-Dental of any concerns or problems reportedby patients or with current patient flow protocols Attends monthlystaff meetings as required Conducts self in accordance with CompassHealth’s employee manual Maintains strictest confidentiality;adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations High School/GEDrequired

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONALREQUIREMENTS

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a frontoffice staff member in a dental office setting preferredSupervisory experience preferred Experience with a multi-line phonesystem and professional phone skills preferred Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Suite preferred Compass Health Network is anonprofit health care organization offering accessible,comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance usetreatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.
