Shift:
Monday -Thursday 7:00AM-6:00pm
- The Veterinary Specialty Technician Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the day-to-day clinical and operational success of our specialty departments.
Reporting to hospital leadership, this individual will oversee the technical teams in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery — coordinating staffing, supporting patient care, and mentoring team members to maintain the high standards synonymous with BluePearl.

- + Supervise, coach, and coordinate daily activities of technicians in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery + Collaborate closely with specialists and hospital leadership to ensure patient care is efficient, thorough, and compassionate + Foster a positive work environment and uphold BluePearl’s core values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork + Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members + Participate in scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding of new technicians + Ensure department compliance with OSHA, AAHA, and hospital-specific safety protocols and procedures + Act as a role model by maintaining clinical excellence and stepping in to assist with procedures when needed + Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Tennessee (or eligible to transfer certification) + 3+ years of specialty veterinary experience in Internal Medicine, Oncology, or Surgery + Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred + High proficiency in advanced technical skills including anesthesia, catheter placement, patient monitoring, and surgical assistance + Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building abilities + Passion for mentorship and helping others succeed •Why•BluePearl•?
